Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using QuestModeLife.

TL;DR: Use the tools for free. Don’t abuse the service. We’re not liable if you accidentally delete your data. Be cool.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using QuestModeLife (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you disagree with any part, please don’t use the Service.

You must be 13+ years old to use QuestModeLife.

2. Description of Service

QuestModeLife provides:

  • 10 free productivity tools (mission statement, habit tracker, weekly planner, etc.)
  • Blog content about productivity and gamification
  • Optional premium products (Notion templates, ebooks)

All free tools:

  • ✅ Work without sign-up
  • ✅ Store data locally in your browser
  • ✅ Are available indefinitely (no expiration)
  • ✅ Have PDF/PNG export functionality

3. Use of Service

You May:

  • ✅ Use all tools for personal or commercial productivity
  • ✅ Export and print your work
  • ✅ Share exported PDFs (they’re yours!)
  • ✅ Recommend QuestModeLife to others

You May Not:

  • ❌ Scrape, copy, or redistribute the tools themselves
  • ❌ Claim you created QuestModeLife
  • ❌ Use the service to violate laws
  • ❌ Abuse the service (DDoS attacks, hacking attempts)
  • ❌ Impersonate QuestModeLife or its creator
  • ❌ Remove copyright/attribution from exported files

Fair Use: Feel free to screenshot tools for tutorials, reviews, or social media. Just credit QuestModeLife.

4. Intellectual Property

Our Content:

  • Tool interfaces, design, and code: © QuestModeLife / Stevanus Wijaya
  • Blog articles: © QuestModeLife (unless otherwise noted)
  • Brand name and logo: © QuestModeLife

Your Content:

  • Everything you create with the tools is 100% yours
  • Mission statements, goals, habits, stats: YOU own it
  • Exported PDFs: Yours to use however you want
  • We have zero claim to your personal productivity data

Open Source:

We may open-source parts of QuestModeLife in the future. If so, appropriate licenses will apply.

5. Data and Privacy

Critical: We don’t store your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

By using QuestModeLife:

  • You understand data saves in your browser (localStorage)
  • You’re responsible for backing up important work (export PDFs!)
  • You accept we’re not liable if you clear browser data
  • You understand we can’t recover lost data (we don’t have it)

6. Premium Products

If you purchase premium templates or ebooks:

What You Get:

  • One-time purchase (no subscription)
  • Lifetime access to purchased content
  • Free updates to that product

Refunds:

License:

  • Personal use license (single user)
  • Team licenses available separately
  • No reselling or redistribution

7. Disclaimers

”AS IS” Service:

QuestModeLife is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We don’t guarantee:

  • ❌ Tools will be bug-free
  • ❌ Service will be uninterrupted
  • ❌ Data won’t be lost (use exports!)
  • ❌ Tools will work on every device/browser

We DO promise:

  • ✅ To fix bugs when we find them
  • ✅ To maintain the free tools
  • ✅ To be transparent about issues
  • ✅ To respond to support emails

Not Professional Advice:

QuestModeLife provides productivity tools, not:

  • Medical advice
  • Psychological counseling
  • Financial advice
  • Legal advice

If you need professional help, consult a professional.

Results Not Guaranteed:

Using QuestModeLife doesn’t guarantee:

  • You’ll achieve your goals
  • You’ll become more productive
  • You’ll level up your life

Personal growth requires actual effort. The tools are just… tools.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We’re NOT liable for:

  • Lost data (browser crashed, you cleared cache, etc.)
  • Missed deadlines (you didn’t check your planner)
  • Lost revenue (you forgot a meeting)
  • Emotional distress (your habit streak broke)
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Maximum Liability:
If we somehow ARE liable, the maximum amount is what you paid (likely $0 for free tools, or purchase price for premium products).

Why This Matters:
We’re a solo project. We can’t have unlimited liability. But we’ll do our best to provide a great service.

9. User Conduct

Be a decent human:

  • 🟢 Use tools responsibly
  • 🟢 Report bugs kindly
  • 🟢 Give honest feedback
  • 🔴 Don’t abuse the service
  • 🔴 Don’t harass us or other users
  • 🔴 Don’t do illegal stuff

We reserve the right to ban abusive users (unlikely since there’s no login, but still).

Our blog may link to external resources. We’re not responsible for:

  • Their content
  • Their privacy practices
  • Their accuracy

Click external links at your own discretion.

11. Modifications to Service

We may:

  • ✅ Add new tools
  • ✅ Improve existing tools
  • ✅ Fix bugs
  • ⚠️ Remove tools (rare, with notice)
  • ⚠️ Change pricing for premium products

Free Tools Promise: The 10 core tools will remain free. If we ever pivot to paid-only (unlikely), existing free tools stay free.

12. Termination

You can stop using QuestModeLife anytime. Just… close the tab.

We can terminate access if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Abuse the service
  • Do something illegal

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.

For international users: Your local consumer protection laws may apply.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem:

  1. Email us: hello@questmodelife.com
  2. We’ll try to resolve it like adults
  3. If that fails, Indonesian law applies

We’re not doing arbitration clauses. If there’s a real dispute, we’ll figure it out.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. If so:

  • We’ll update the “Last updated” date
  • Major changes = email notice (if we have your email)
  • Continued use = acceptance

16. Severability

If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
